| CCATS was formed in response to the Utah Hghway Patrol ruling that an EPA sticker was to be required for a CNG vehicle to pass safety standards and be registered. We have been able to turn things around now and are working with the UHP and the Utah legislature to help establish workable and useful standards for Utah CNG vehicles. |

Jack McIntyre was successful in getting an injunction to remove the "EPA" Certification requirement in the proposed Utah Highway Patrol CNG Safety Inspections. Below is a link to the Origional Complaint, and a link to the Injunction issued upon winning the Complaint. There was also another action filed that is still in process. It was an agency action requesting the tax credit offered for converting a vehicle to CNG. A copy of this agency action is available at the link below.
